About Me
I started taking pictures at 9 years old when my parents bought me my first camera. I proceeded to shoot anything available to me in our neighborhood including people, places, my German Shepherd, pet bunny and even front yard snails! I took photography classes in high school and college, and since have participated in a variety of workshops, internet photography courses and photo meetups. I am a member of the Photographic Society of America and the local chapter Sierra Camera Club. I have competed with Sierra Camera Club in nature, travel and general divisions. During the 2013-2014 years, I was the club president which was very informative and rewarding.
I am a licensed physician assistant and I love working with patients. I recently changed jobs going part time so I could also pursue a career in photography and am loving my new schedule which allows me to do both. I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my photography passion and follow my dreams. Hopefully, I can share my photo skill set with you!
